Looking for an Asheville 5k this beautiful fall season? Well, October is also ADHD Awareness Month, so put on your running shoes and help bring awareness to cause affecting millions of youth! According to the Centers for Disease Control, over 6 million kids between the ages of 4 and 17 are diagnosed with ADHD, and the number continues to rise each year. By helping bring awareness to the increasing number of children being diagnosed, we can help others better understand kids with ADHD. Through high-adventure programs, we strive to help kids see their strengths, develop self-reliance, and increase self-confidence. All proceeds will go to SOAR’s Scholarship Fund.

Course
The race will begin at the bike track and move toward Amboy Dog Park. This Asheville 5k course is relatively flat with rolling terrain. There is a mix of paved and mulched pathways.
Awards
Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place runners. Prizes will also be awarded to the winner in each age group.
Age Groups:
8-12, 12-15, 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, Masters (51 and up)
Timing
The race will utilize chip timing. A timing chip will be on the back of your race bib, which should be worn on your front and visible at all times during the race.
Parking
Please use designated park parking in Carrier Parking lots located on either side of the bike track.
