Run with the Cows 5K, 10K & Fun Run

Join mRunWithPaytone, Payton, for the 6th Annual New Sterling Run with the Cows in scenic Stony Point, NC.  The beautiful, rolling 5K, 10K, and Fun Run [2 miles] courses pass acres of peaceful fields with plenty of my buddies to cheer you on. Some may even join you for a part of the run – unfortunately Farmer Watson insists that they stay on their side of the fence of course.

Pre-Reg rates until 11:59pm on October 13th:

5K = $25

10K = $30

Fun Run/Walk = $20

Add $5 after October 13th and on Race Day

Long sleeve T-Shirts for all registered by October 13th

Run with the Cows 5K, 10K & Fun Run

RunWithPaytonNEW DATE: Saturday – October 24th.

Due to the impending inclement weather and the Governor’s declared State of Emergency we have rescheduled the 5th Annual Run with the Cows 5K, 10K, and Fun Run until Saturday – October 24th.

Registration, both online and mail-in will be ongoing until Friday – October 23rd at noon at the New Sterling church in Stony Point, NC. Early Packet Pick Up and on-site registration will also be available on Friday – October 23rd from 6 – 8PM. On-site registration will be available on Race Day too.

For those unable to join the fun on October 24th – specific details related to race entry refunds are being finalized now. Once confirmed they will be posted here and emailed to all preregistered participants.

Woodfin 5K

The 9th Annual Woodfin 5K will start Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 9:00 AM.
Your Registration and Donations will make a real difference for the children we are educating at our terrific neighborhood school, Woodfin Elementary. Since 2014, the Read – Write – Run event has raised more than $65,000 to support classrooms from Kindergarten through Grade 4. 
The 5K run/walk is hosted by the Woodfin Elementary School with support and coordination from the Woodfin Elementary School PTO, the Town of WoodfinYMCA of WNCNew Life Community Church, Reynolds Mountain Homeowners Association, and many other fine community friends, sponsors, and volunteers.
5K Entry Fees:
$20: The first 24 people to sign up using Code “Woodfin24”
$25: Until midnight on April 15th.
$30: April 16 – 26th
$35: April 27th: Race Day
Kid’s 11 & Under: Run for Free and includes a race t-shirt. While FREE we do ask that they register online.

Well…. how do you get elementary school kids motivated to raise $$$? Easy! The class that raises the most funds wins a Pizza Party in their classroom!! Now we’re talking!!!
