Jumping for Java 5K 10K Fun Run

The 3rd Annual Jumping For Java returns to beautiful downtown Black Mountain, NC on October 1^st. Featured are a professionally timed 5K and an untimed 1 Mile Fun Run and new this year a 10K run. Each meander through the quite neighborhoods north of town. 

 5K & 10K Team Competition – enabling teams of four to challenge other groups or organizations for the Coffee King title.

Produced by LanVwa, Inc. the family fun event is a charity event for Coffee for Education and LanVwa’s efforts to enhance education opportunities for kids in coffee growing regions of the world.

Age Groups & Awards:

• Top 3 Overall Male & Female
• Top M/F in the following Age Group: 12 & under, 13-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50- 59; 60- 69; 70+
• Top Team [4 person team]

Race Day Schedule:

• 09:00 – 09:45   Onsite registration & Packet Pick Up in field next to Dobra Tea.
• 10:00     START 5K 10K
• 10:05     START  1 Mile Fun Run
• 11:00+/-     Awards Ceremony

After the race, hang out to enjoy coffee and coffee treats. If you love coffee, you’ll want to jump for java!
