UPDATE: Due to the heavy smoke caused by the wildfires in Western North Carolina we have been asked by local authorities to cancel the 2016 Cherokee 5K Turkey Strut. An Air Quality Alert has been issued for much of the region and is unlikely to improve by Saturday. While saddened – we certainly do agree with the reasoning behind the request and apologize for any inconvenience this cancellation has caused.
Refunds will be sent to all participant who signed up online. You should see a refund on your credit card statement within a week or so.
For those who sent in a paper application and check. Your checks have not been cashed and will be shredded.

Come out and enjoy a beautiful course that starts and finishes at the Kituwah Mound [This is a new location]. Cool shirts, great awards, and a great cause: all proceeds benefit the Cherokee Braves Booster Club.
12 Noon start. Day of race registration will be available from 10:30 until 11:30 AM.
